Our mission is to connect people. In a city like Amsterdam it is very common to feel a bit lonely from time to time. We are here to fix that.
Online platforms that are designed to connect are not doing us a favour. Several studies show that social media is not helping our mental health and can actually make us feel more lonely. It turns out an overload of bubblegum happy pictures is not what we need - we need offline networks: real connections, meaningful rendez-vous' and a substantial dose of fun. We need this now! That is why we started mixer.
By building, extending and strengthening your network, we are using the most powerful tool to make you feel connected.
Feel at home
Amsterdam has become a true metropolis. Many people from all over the world come here to live and to visit. At mixer we think this is wonderful. We say: let's meet and let's mix, let's go out of our bubble and be curious, let's be openminded and learn from each other. Let's be vulnerable and make honest connections. At our events we find it important that you can feel free and be yourself.
