“For the real experience you have to enjoy their eclairs on a sunny day in the Sarphatipark”
Greg’s favourite: My little patisserie & Used English Book store
Greg: "When I crave Paris I go to my little patisserie in de Pijp. I know it's a bit of a cliché to complain about dutch food - and actually not always justified - but the dutch sweets cán be a bit heavy and sugary. This makes me miss the french ones, especially the eclairs. And this place happens to be famous for them. For the real experience you should enjoy them on a sunny day in the Sarphatipark.
An other favourite spot of mine is the Used English Book store at the Kloveniersburgwal. This reminds me of my other home, London. I love books. The real ones. I tried an e-reader, but it's not quite the same. This shop is good if you want to find bestsellers that have been around for a while, but especially great to find something out of the ordinary, you should go with an open mind! However, this place is a little bit dangerous for me. I can get carried away and buy way too many books. With little time to read them!"
